I am looking for my family members on my father's side that I have not seen since I was around 14 years old. My father was Ludger Groulx and my Mother was connie. My father died in a construction accident when I was six and I want so badly to see my family in Quebec canada. I have an Aunt lela, an Aunt Margo, and an Aunt Marie. My Uncles are Uncle Lucien, Uncle Delphus, and Uncle Lorne. If you see them tell them I love them and never forgot them. I would love to see them. Marianne

Was told about a historic "Penrod" house out from Seville, Ohio. That is all we know. Does anyone have any ideas/info on this? Would also love a picture if you have one.

I have found some ship records for my great grand parents Peter and Eva Bauer. They were found on the jewishgen.org ellis island database. I have found this to be a great source of information and very interesting to me. So thought I would share it with you. Roll Eyes

I want to take this time to share with those of you that are just getting started into seeking family information. I have found the forums on the internet are a great resource. When we decided to start our family site, I started browsing Ancestry.com Message Boards. I was just looking under the last name Penrod and much to my surprise I came across a Looking for Carol Penrod. I thought I would read it just because that was my moms name. I was surprised to see that it was really my mom being looked for. The message was posted in 2000 and I was reading it in 2005. The author Sue is my moms half sister. Our families have not been in touch for years. I emailed her and didn't think I'd get a reply. I did and have been able to talk with her and even find out that we had spent time together when I was a child but I was too young to remember. We are keeping in touch. Between reading her other postings and talking to her, I have been able to know more about my Schunatz side of the family. I have wondered about this side of the family often. Sue and I reside in the same state and I look forward to seeing her in person again in the future. I will list the address of the 1st posting I came across and her other listings inorder for you to see how you can come across more information that expected. The outcomes can be rewarding.

Just thought I would share this information incase someone else may find this interesting reading.
